Tacoma: blog and discuss
One of the goals I’ve had for this web site is for it to be. . . of and for the people of Tacoma. Which is really just a nice way of saying I’m lazy, busy and not that great of a blogger; the more people involved in this project the better and more interesting it will be.
One of the ways I had hoped to accomplish this was through an open web-forum – a place for anyone to come and speak their mind, ask questions and talk. It’s not been quite as successful as I had hoped in terms of activity and I’m hoping you can help make it more interesting. How can you help? In a couple of ways. . .
First off, if you haven’t already, stop by the forum.tacomaness.com and sign up. Create a post if you’d like or reply to any number of the current ones. You don’t have to be a computer savvy-blogging wiz and if you have any questions about how it works i’m happy to help.
Additionally, I’ve struggled with what I should call this? Is a web-forum a well known ‘thing’ that most people will relate to and likely click on to check out? Is ‘Tacoma Discussion’ better? ‘Web-bulletin board’? ... ??
